Recently, Hefei Guanqi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. officially unveiled its third-generation LNG/gasoline dual-fuel power conversion system specifically designed for forklifts. Leveraging years of R&D expertise in industrial vehicle powertrain electronic control, the company provides domestic forklift manufacturers with comprehensive low-carbon solutions, helping the construction machinery industry achieve energy‑saving upgrades and transformation. According to Liu Yuhuan, the company’s legal representative, since its establishment in 2020, the firm has focused on three core areas: intelligent vehicle electronic control, gas‑powered equipment, and industrial automation software. Initially operating under the name Hefei Hanbei Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., the company rebranded in 2022 and continues to deepen its presence in the niche market of new‑energy industrial equipment.

This new product addresses the key pain points of high fuel consumption and excessive exhaust emissions in on‑site internal‑combustion forklifts. Equipped with a self‑developed smart metering instrument and an IoT monitoring module, it can collect real‑time data on engine combustion, gas consumption, and emission concentrations, with the information seamlessly uploaded to the enterprise management backend. It is compatible with the full range of models from domestic forklift OEMs such as Heli and JAC. Compared with conventional retrofit solutions, this new system reduces nitrogen oxide emissions by 32% and cuts overall fuel costs by 25%. Additionally, its built-in AI‑controlled electronic chip enables adaptive power output regulation, automatically switching between loaded and empty‑load modes, thereby significantly extending engine life. The R&D team comprises engineers specializing in vehicle engineering and automated control, and after 18 months of development—during which they conducted tens of thousands of dynamometer tests and field trials at actual plant sites—they have overcome two major industry challenges: unstable gas atomization in low‑temperature environments and power‑train jerking caused by load fluctuations.

Currently, domestic demand for green upgrades of industrial vehicles continues to surge, and Hefei has introduced a series of policies to encourage the replacement of non‑road mobile equipment in industrial parks with clean‑energy alternatives. In tandem, Guanqi Intelligence has launched a complementary cloud‑based operations and maintenance platform, offering partner factories integrated services such as remote fault diagnosis, regular energy‑consumption analysis, and equipment‑maintenance reminders. The company has already signed annual supply agreements with three leading forklift manufacturers in Anhui, with the first batch exceeding 500 sets; meanwhile, it has initiated export‑registration procedures for its products and is leveraging its import‑export qualifications to expand into the Southeast Asian industrial‑equipment market. According to Liu Yuhuan, the company plans to ramp up investment in integrated‑circuit design, advance the domestic substitution of core chips for power‑control systems, and reduce reliance on overseas components. By providing cost‑effective, eco‑friendly equipment, Guanqi aims to help manufacturing enterprises achieve their dual carbon goals and further strengthen Anhui’s competitive edge in the local industrial‑intelligence‑equipment supply chain.
