As industrial facilities continue to raise their standards for production‑environment quality, the drawbacks of conventional diesel‑powered forklifts are becoming increasingly apparent. Over time, most diesel forklifts experience a steady deterioration in emission performance; after just about two years of operation, they often begin emitting black smoke, suffer accelerated engine aging, encounter frequent breakdowns, and incur persistently high maintenance costs. These issues not only fail to meet green‑production requirements but also significantly increase operating expenses and reduce operational efficiency.

Addressing the key pain points of conventional diesel forklifts, we have leveraged our mature R&D expertise to develop a specialized LPG‑powered forklift engine retrofit solution based on gasoline‑powered base engines. This innovative approach effectively resolves longstanding challenges such as emissions, noise, premature aging, and high maintenance costs associated with diesel forklifts. By fully replacing and upgrading the forklift’s original diesel engine, we not only significantly extend the machine’s service life but also deliver comprehensive improvements to the operating environment. The retrofitted LPG forklift achieves near‑zero emissions, completely eliminating black smoke, while substantially reducing operational noise. Even under heavy‑duty, continuous operation in factory settings, it avoids the loud, rumbling noise typical of diesel models, greatly enhancing workplace conditions. Moreover, this retrofit offers notable cost‑effectiveness, helping businesses cut fuel expenses by more than one‑third, thus balancing environmental and economic benefits.

Recently, we successfully completed the LPG‑engine retrofit of a Heli CPCD30 diesel forklift for a chemical enterprise in Wuxi. The equipment has undergone thorough commissioning and has been delivered to the customer for formal operation. To date, this retrofitted forklift is fully capable of handling the plant’s 24‑hour, continuous‑operation conditions, exhibiting stable performance, robust power, and no potential malfunctions; its overall operational characteristics have earned high praise from the customer.

The customer stated that the forklift retrofitting has far exceeded expectations, with notable advantages in environmental performance, operational stability, and cost-effectiveness. Moving forward, they plan to vigorously promote our LPG‑powered forklift conversion technology throughout their facility, replacing aging diesel‑powered models across the board to help the company achieve green, low‑carbon production while reducing costs and boosting efficiency.
